The Damex FR Non-Combustible Damp Proof Course (DPC) & Cavity Tray is a unique, high performance, non-combustible fabric with a waterproof high temperature polymer coating to both sides, achieving A2-s1,d0 to EN13501-1:2018. Damex FR has been designed to meet the toughest standards but with the installer in mind. Why use Damex FR Non-Combustible Adhesive?
One of the strongest reasons to choose sausage cartridges is their environmental advantage. The film used in a sausage cartridge is 15 to 20 times thinner than that of a standard cartridge, resulting in over 90% less waste by volume — even when including the nozzle.
Sausage cartridges also offer major benefits in waste transport and disposal. Unlike standard cartridges, which retain their size after use, sausage foils compress completely, allowing for much more efficient handling. In fact, one full truck of empty cartridges can be replaced by just a single pallet of used foil packaging — significantly cutting CO2 emissions. Additionally, sausage cartridges hold 58% more sealant.
